When threatened, this frog puffs up and looks like a ripe red tomato! In the wild, it also secretes a sticky, toxic ooze that’s irritating to the touch. The tomato frog is only found in the northwest region of Madagascar and is threatened due to deforestation and over-collecting for the pet trade. But you can help save the “tom frog” and its island home!
